|
Chester Gilliam of Lovell, Wyo. defeated Craig Nickel of Billings in the championship match by a score of 192-173.
With the win, Gilliam took home $230 while Nickel took home $192 for his efforts. The high game was posted by Mike Chappel
of Livingston with a 268 game in match play. The the top qualifier was Mark Hodges of Butte with a 937 for four games.

Craig Nickel of Billings claimed his first tournament victory with a win over Dale Matthaes of Billings by a score
of 199-197 in the challenge championship match. Matthaes forced the second match by winning the first match by a score
of 201-198. With the win, Nickel took home $230 while Matthaes took home $205 for his efforts. The high game was posted by
Ron Engelhardt with a 268 game in qualifying and was also the top qualifier with a 916 for four games.

Ken Taft of Billings claimed the Jerry Browne memorial tournament on Sunday in Sheridan, Wyo. at the Cloud Peak
Lanes by defeating Todd Phillips of Lovell, Wyo. by a score of 184-180. With the win, Taft took home $265 while Phillips
took home $227 for his efforts. The high game was posted by Ken Taft with a 279 game in qualifying and was also the top
qualifier with a 960 for four games. Honor scores posted were Taft (779,790), Mike Chappell (Livingston 704,740), and
Craig Nickel (711).

247-229. Brown forced the second match by winning the first 237-214. With the win, Brown took home $195 while Taft
