In an all Billings final, Ken Taft claimed the tournament championship by defeating Daryl Recanati in the challenge championship match by a score of 216-206. Recanati forced the second match by winning the first match 223-205. With the win, Taft pocketed $250 while Recanati took home $212. The high game was posted by Daryl Recanati, Ken Taft, and Stu Summers with a 279 each in match play. The high qualifier was Ken Taft with a 969 for 4 games. Honor scores posted were Recanati (732), Taft (701), and Summers (710) in the qualifying round.

Robert Brown of Wapati, Wyo. defeated Keith Loran of Billings in the championship match by a score of 209 - 183. With the win, Brown took home $270, while Loran pocketed $216 for his efforts. October 8, 2017 - Fireside Lanes, Billings, MT
Ken Taft of Billings defeated Tom Shea of Billings in the championship match of the senior division by a score of 240 - 200. Ryan Wells of Lovell, Wyo. defeated Brian Rawden of Billings in the challenge championship match by a score of 231-229 in the junior division. Taft went on to challenge Wells in the grand championship match. That one game match saw Wells prevail 191 - 181 to claim the Grand Championship. Taft claimed $265 plus $25 in the grand championship match. Wells on the other hand received $242 plus $75 for winning the grand championship match. Shea received $217 for his second place finish, while Rawden received $200 for his second place finish in the junior division. The high game was posted by Tom Shea of Billings with a 279 game in match play. Honor scores posted were by Ryan Wells of Lovell, Wyo. (715), Mike Moncrieve of Sheridan, Wyo. (737), and Tom Shea (722). High qualifier for the senior division was John Whitaker of Roundup with 923 for 4 games. With the win, Loran took home $231, while Shea took home $191 for his efforts. The high game was posted by Fred Kunz of Cody, Wyo. with a 290 in match play. The top qualifier was Dave Winslow of Billings with an 884.
