John Marchette of Bozeman defeated Ken Carcich of Sheridan, Wyo. in the challenge championship match by a score of
257-235. Marchette forced the second match by winning the first match 288-226. With the win, Marchette took home $300 plus
a $75 gift certificate while Carcich took home $240 plus a $50 gift certificate for his efforts. The top qualifier was Tom
Shea of Billings with an 898 for four games. The game was posted by Marchette with a 288 in match play competition. Honor

In an all Billings final, Ed Sauer defeated Dave Winslow by a score of 224-218 to win his 7th Double Nickel Tournament
on Sunday in Sheridan, Wyo. With the win, Sauer took home $234 while Winslow pocketed $198 for his efforts. The high game was
posted by Ken Carcich of Sheridan with a 280 game in qualifying. The lone honor score was posted by Chester Gilliam of
Lovell, Wyo. with a 705 in match play.

Daryl Recanati of Billings defeated Jim Blakeley of Roberts in championship match of the senior division (55 and
older) by a score of 226-199. Meanwhile Josh Link of Billings came back from losing the first championship match of the
junior division (54 and younger) to defeat Damon Winslow of Billings by a score of 257 to 220. Winslow won the first match
by a score of 279 to 214 to force the second match. Recanati went on to challenge Link for the grand champion. Link claimed
the title by winning the match 210 to 192. Link won $327 for winning the Junior division plus $75 for the grand championship.
Recanati claimed $268 plus $25 for grand championship match. The high game was posted by Matt Stricker of Billings with a
298 game in qualifying. Honor scores posted were by Hans Schell (743), Nick Haney (709), Chris Guidry (717), and Doug Hayes
(739). High qualifier for the senior division was Keith Loran of Billings with a 941 for 4 games. Josh Link was the high
qualifier of the junior division with a 1000 for 4 games.
