John Whitaker of Roundup defeated Tom Shea of Billings in the challenge championship match at the finals of the Double
Nickel Tournament by a score of 258-196. Shea forced the second match by winning the first match 234- 198. With the win,
Whitaker took home $245 plus a $75 gift certificate from B & H Bowling Supply, while Shea took home $198 plus a $50 certificate.
The high qualifier for the tournament was Jim Blakeley of Roberts with a 951 for 4 games. The high game was posted by Shea
in match play competition with a 279 game. Honor scores posted were Jim Blakeley with a 706, Randy Gerhardt 702, and Tom
Shea 708.

Stu Summers of Billings defeated Tom Shea of Billings in the championship match on Sunday by a score of 213-204. With
the win, Summers took home $189 while Shea took home $153 for his efforts. The top qualifier for the tournament was John
Whitaker with a 943 for 4 games and also posted the high game of the tournament with a 269 game in qualifying.

of 207-150. With the win, Gilliam took home $189 while Carcich took home $153 for his efforts. The high qualifier of the
tournament was Russ Penkal of Bozeman with a 957 for 4 games. The high game was posted by Gilliam with a 279. Penkal posted
the lone honor score of 745 for 3 games in qualifying.

Sunday in Sheridan Wyo. With the win, Loran took home $231 while Hansen pocketed $187 for his efforts. The high qualifier of
the tournament was Keith Loran with a 980 for four games. The high game was posted by Keith Loran and Ron Engelhardt, both
of Billings with each rolling a 300 game in match play competition. Honor scores posted in the tournament were Engelhardt

Stu Summers of Billings defeated Kyle Armstrong also of Billings in the Grand Championship match of the Dave Rawden
Memorial Tournament on Sunday by a score of 226-211. With the win, Summers took home an extra 75 dollars plus the 293 for
winning the senior division of the tournament. Armstrong took home and extra 25 dollars plus 304 for winning the junior
division which was for bowlers under the age of 55. The high qualifiers of the tournament were Armstrong in the junior
division with a 1026, while Jerry Browne of Sheridan, Wyo. was the high qualifier for the senior division with a 923. Browne
also posted the high game of the tournament with a 289 in qualifying. Other honor scores posted were Mike Hayes (11 in a row
- 279), Armstrong (760), Cordell Bird (716), Nick Haney (722), Brad Muri (730), Damon Winslow (716), and Steve Krell (703).

Ron Englehardt of Billings in challenge Championship match by a score of 228-202. Engelhardt forced the second match by
winning the first 208-184. With the win, Schell took home $285 while Englehardt took home $240 for his efforts. The high
qualifier of the tournament was Greg McCannel of Billings with a 917 for 4 games. The high game was posted by Engelhardt in
match play with a 279 game.
