Tournament results from our 2011-2012 season are detailed below.
 
April 15, 2012 - Town & Country Lanes, Billings, MT
John Whitaker of Roundup captured the Double Nickel Tournament Championship with a win over Keith Loran of Billings by a score of 268-216. With the win, Whitaker took home $244 plus $75 gift certificate from B & H Bowling Supply, while Loran took home $198 plus $50 gift certificate from B & H Bowling Supply. The high qualifier of the tournament was Tom Shea of Billings with a 967 for four games. The high game was rolled by Ken Carcich of Sheridan, Wyo. with a 275 in qualifying. Honor scores posted were Carcich (738), Shea (719), and Dick Hansen of Billings (701).

There were 39 bowlers who participated in the tournament from Wyoming, North Dakota, and Montana. Those not listing hometowns are from Billings. March 18, 2012 - Town & Country Lanes, Billings, MT
Bill Dugan of Billings captured his first Double Nickel Tournament victory with a win over Randy Gerhardt of Huntley in the challenge championship match by a score of 189-175. Gerhardt forced the second match by winning the first match by a score of 180-161. With the win, Dugan took home $214, while Gerhardt took home $174 for his efforts. The high qualifier of the tournament was Jim "JJ" Hill of Billings with a 955 for 4 games. The high game was posted by Terry Vandercook of Park City with a 269 in qualifying. Honor scores posted were Hill (744), Clay Buttman of Billings (716), and Tom Shea of Billings with a 710.

Lovell Tournament had 40 bowlers, Keith Loran won his second tournament in a row.
 
January 15, 2012 - Cloud Peak Lanes, Sheridan, WY
In a rematch from last month's tournament where Keith Loran of Billings and Randy Gerhardt of Huntley met in the championship match, Loran defeated Gerhardt this time in the championship match by a score of 206-205. With the win, Loran took home $205 while Gerhardt took home $166 for his efforts, and was Loran's first tournament win in the Double Nickel Tournament Association. The high qualifier of the tournament was Will Powers of Sheridan, Wyo. with a 1002 for four games. Powers also rolled the high game of the tournament with a 287 qualifying. Honor scores posted were Powers (777), Keith Loran (724, 702, 719), Stu Summers (Billings) (725, 720, 724), Ken Carcich (Sheridan, Wyo.) (774), Tom Shea (Billings) (718), and Kelly Glendy (Sheridan, Wyo.) (719).

Randy Gerhardt of Huntley claimed the victory in the challenge championship match Sunday at Fireside Lanes in Billings by defeating Keith Loran of Billings by a score of 191-178. Loran forced the second match by winning the first match 269-182. With the win, Gerhardt took home $218 while Loran pocketed $175 for his efforts. The high qualifier of the tournament was Gary Good of Billings with a 948 for 4 games. The high was rolled by Kelly Glendy of Sheridan, Wyo. and Keith Loran with 278's. Honor scores posted were Gary Good (719-700), Keith Loran (703-705-771-745), Ken Carcich (Sheridan, Wyo.) 701, and Stu Summers (Billings) 738.
